In this episode of Exploring Improv, I speak with Kimberly Alu. Kimberly is an improviser and teacher in New York City. She is active at the People’s Improv Theater (PIT) where she is an instructor and performer. She also performs improv at the Armory, and is one of the founders of Socially Distant Improv on Instagram. This is in addition to an impressive list of screen and stage credits.
Kimberly and I talk about leading with empathy and vulnerability, finding comedy in the relationship, handling big characters, online improv, and more.
